GALA EVENING - Tuesday 3 October 2006

La Société des Pétroles Shell, subsidiary of Royal Dutch Shell plc. and the World Congress on Emulsions took great pleasure in inviting participants to attend a magical gala evening. A fashion show exclusively organised for the congress participants showed some fifty creation by talented Lyon-based designers including Max CHAOUL, Nicolas FAFIOTTE, Mongi GUIBANE...
Then, an exceptional dinner was served by the caterers PIGNOL, in collaboration with a great Lyonnais Chef, Williams Jacquier.

The evening was preceded by a cocktail reception hosted by the Rhône-Alpes Region, accompanied by The Hunting Horns of the Cavalry Regiment of the Republican Guard, the forerunners of French hunting music accustomed to heralding some of France’s most prestigious visitors to its ministries and more recently the Council of State. After the fashion show, an exceptional private sale has been organized: a rare opportunity to purchase designs by the creators presenting their collections this evening.

ExxonMobil and the World Congress on Emulsions was pleased to welcome participants to a prestigious cultural event at the Maison de la Danse in the company of the Ballet du Grand Théâtre de Genève. The performance was followed by a cocktail-buffet in the Maison de la Danse.
